How to Solve the Well of Warm Winds Puzzle in KAKU: Ancient Seal
To start, you want to head to this specific location shown in the image above. This is in the northern part of the Howling Snowfield area.

KAKU Ancient Seal: Wind Rider Puzzle GuideMay 10, 2023Once you get there, go through the portal to take you to the Underground Ruins with the Well of Warm Wind puzzle inside. You’ll immediately be greeted with a message which is the name of the puzzle itself.
As you can see, the puzzle is basically a huge gauntlet where you have to jump over the platforms to get to the other side.
There’s only one problem, though. These platforms have spikes on them that go up at regular intervals. This means you’ll have to properly time your jump when a platform has no spikes on.
Luckily, you don’t have to go far as you can see the next area to your left. All you have to do is jump over four of the platforms to get there.
To get there, you’ll want to pay attention to the color of the platforms themselves. When a platform is not glowing, that would be the perfect time to jump over them.
However, you don’t want to stay for too long. As you can notice in the image above, the platform you’re standing on is already glowing.
This means that in just a second, spikes will start to pop out from the ground.
At this point, you have to jump to the platform on the upper left. As you can see, its spikes have just retracted, so now’s the perfect time to do so.
After that, simply jump to the left to get to the next area.
The Final Stage
Go all the way to the top to find a lever. Activate it to cause a huge propeller to appear and then go back to where the platforms are.
This time, you’ll need to head to the area highlighted in the image above.
Same as before, make sure to time your jumps properly. You’ll find a safe spot right near the middle where there are no spikes popping out of your feet.
You can get there so you can take a brief rest before you proceed. After that, simply move forward then jump over the propeller to push you upward.
You’ll then find a chest at the top containing some Essences.
