Farm animals are crucial in order to obtain various items or just Dinks in general. However, you have to meet certain requirements first before you can raise your own farm animals. In this farm animal guide, I’ll show you everything you need to know in order to raise your own farm animals.

Farm Animal Guide in Dinkum

To start your own animal farm in Dinkum, you need to obtain a Handling License from Fletch. Once you have a license, head over to Erwin in order to buy some farm animals. Do keep in mind that his barn won’t be open on Mondays, and the stocks will be random throughout the week.

Basically, you can purchase the following animals in his shop:

  • Chooks
  • Vombats
  • Pleeps

Each of them has its own minimum Handling License Level requirement, with the Pleep requiring a level 3 license. After meeting all requirements, simply purchase the animal you want. Right click on the box to pick it up, then left click to release it to your farm.

Caring for Your Farm Animals

Your work doesn’t just stop there. After putting the animals on your farm, you have to make sure they’re properly cared for as well. However, there are only a few things you can do in order to care for your farm animals. They’re as follows:

  • Make sure they’re living inside a well-fenced area.
  • Give them Animal Food which you can buy from the Grain Mill. Alternatively, you can buy it from it Erwin for 100 Dinks each.
  • Make sure to pet them daily.
  • Give each animal shelter.

You can also check your animals’ happiness. Simply press the Esc key then click on the Animals tab. Basically, the happier your animals are, the better they get when it comes to production and more.
