V Rising: Huge Upcoming Changes | New Location, Titans, Materials
V Rising has garnered positive reception from the majority of its players, and since it’s still in Early Access, players can expect new massive changes to come in the near future.
It’s no secret that V Rising has become the talk of the town among many players. This survival vampire-themed RPG has you taking on the role of a weakened vampire who just woke up from his slumber. From there, you have to regain your strength and make progress to become a vampire overlord.
But of course, since the game is still in Early Access, it is not fully fleshed out yet. While it is no doubt quite stable for an Early Access title, there is still a lot of stuff that the developers are planning to add to it.
Let’s have a look at what these upcoming changes will be and when we can expect them.
Huge Upcoming Changes | New Location, Titans, and Materials in V Rising
Before we begin, just a quick disclaimer. All of the information I’m going to cover in this article is from the datamined data obtained by various users through admin commands. This means that there’s a possibility these data are just placeholders, but there’s also a possibility that they’ll be coming in the near future.
That said, let’s have a look at these datamined files and what they mean for the future of V Rising.
Twilight Set
Anyone who has made it to the endgame knows that the highest gear level for armors in the game right now is level 8 with the Bloodmoon set. The Twilight Set, however, is only at level 7. What makes it interesting is that it’s purple quality, unlike Bloodmoon which has blue.
Also, it has a unique 4-piece set bonus that grants you immunity to sun damage and even causes your character to sparkle while out there in the sun. This essentially turns you into a daywalker, and it might even completely change the way you play the game.
More Gear Levels
Another exciting addition is the introduction of more gear levels, with a wide variety of Legendary armors and weapons which they’ll probably add in the future. As of now, V Rising only has one legendary item which is the Blood Key, a jewelry piece that you can only obtain after completing the final quest in the game so far.
One such example of an upcoming Legendary gear is the Death Set, with a gear level of 9. The set doesn’t have any special stats going for it, but when dismantled, it will yield the following materials:
Werewolf Leather
Shadowweave
Exceptional Tailoring Component
New Location
A video posted by YouTuber Demone Kim showed an unfinished location on the eastern side of the map between the Cursed Forest and the Hallowed Mountains. From what it seems, this looks like a new biome that contains some placeholder stuff inside.
There are a few fortress gates which could possibly mean a fortress in that area in the near future. There are also a lot of unfinished textures in the area. This could also possibly hint at a new location in the future.
New Materials
Apart from the materials that you can get by dismantling the Legendary Death Set, there were also several new materials datamined from the game files. These materials include Werewolf Pelt, Witchdust, and Exceptional Magic Component. This could mean we’re going to have a new tier of equipment to look forward to in the future.
Titans
The last interesting aspect in the datamined files is the Titan Core. It’s basically a new component that you can’t obtain in the game via normal means yet. It could potentially mean we’ll be going up against Titans at some point and looting their Titan Cores to forge even stronger weapons.
