New World’s Brimstone Sands expansion is already shaping up to be an exciting update for the game. It features brand new endgame content, a new map, tons of new stuff, and more. One of the newest additions will be the runeglasses which you can craft to provide a variety of effects.

There are tons of these items that you can craft in the game. The Runeglass of Leeching, in particular, is a pretty interesting one as it provides you with life leech on hit. This means that every time you damage an enemy, you leech a portion of that damage as health.

In short, this helps with further survivability, especially if you’re tackling endgame content. But where exactly can you farm the materials for this runeglass? Let’s find out.

Where to Farm Leeching Runeglass Materials in Brimstone Sands in New World

Since the Brimstone Sands expansion isn’t out yet, the only reference we have is the PTR. Amazon Game Studios decided to release the upcoming Brimstone Sands update in the PTR. This means that players will now be able to have a hands-on experience of the update that is yet to come.

Of course, everything in the PTR is not final yet and will be subject to change. Still, there is some pretty useful information out there that you can find.

That said, in order to craft the Runeglass of Leeching, you will need the following materials:

  • 1x Cut Pristine Gem (depending on the rarity you want)
  • 1x Runeglass Case of Leeching
  • 2x Pure Solvent
  • 1x Gold Ingot

Aside from that, you’ll also need Stonecutting Table Tier 5 as well as Level 180 in Stonecutting. For the runeglass case, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 10x Charged Sand
  • 4x Sulfur
  • 5x Food Glyph Stone
  • 5x Gift Glyph Stone
  • 3x Ancient Glob of Ectoplasm

You’ll also need Forge Tier 5 and Level 180 in Weaponsmithing.

Where to Farm the Materials

Now, let’s move on to the farming part. As you can see, there are a bunch of items you need to collect just to craft a Runeglass of Leeching. For the food glyph stones, you can farm them in Castrum Victualis which you can find northwest of the map as you can see in this image:

Enemies in this place will also drop the ectoplasm which you’ll also need to craft the runeglass case. Meanwhile, for the gift glyph stones, you’ll need to head over to Hermopolis. You can get them by opening chests and looting the mobs you killed.

The rest of the materials can be rather easy to get. You can craft charged stone with sandstone block and obsidian sandpaper. For sulfur, you’ll need sulfur chunk and flux, and for the gold ingot, you can craft it with gold ore, silver ingot, and flux.

Lastly, you can obtain pure solvent by crafting it using a Masterwork Material Converter and some Tier 5 Refining Materials. As soon as you have all of the materials you need, you can then start crafting the runeglass case and your cut pristine gem of choice.

After that, craft the Runeglass of Leeching and you’re all set.
