Each time a new league comes out in Path of Exiles, players can look forward to the challenges it offers. After all, completing these challenges will grant them unique and exclusive cosmetic effects that they can’t easily get somewhere else.
That said, the rewards for the Lake of Kalandra challenges are all themed toward mirrored effects. Apart from that, each of these cosmetic effects has separate tiers that further grant extra effects.
Let’s have a look at what these are.
Lake of Kalandra Challenge Rewards Guide in Path of Exile
As usual, there are 40 challenges in the league waiting for you to complete. However, the most realistic goal that most players can achieve is around 30-35. This is because completing all 40 challenges will require a TON of time and grind, especially since the very endgame content is quite hard.
That said, here are the challenge rewards you can aim for for this league:
Iridescent Helmet Attachment
As the name implies, this is a helmet attachment that comes in the form of crystal wings on your character’s headgear. You can unlock it by completing 4 challenges for tier 1, and it comes with a total of 4 tiers, with every succeeding tier making the effect more prominent.
Tiers 2, 3, and 4 unlock by completing 12, 20, and 29 challenges respectively.
Iridescent Weapon Effect
This one grants your weapon a floating crystal effect, with higher tiers giving it a brighter glow with more floating crystals. Tier 1 unlocks by completing 6 challenges, tier 2 at 14, tier 3 at 22, and tier 4 at 32.
Iridescent Character Effect
Character effects don’t appear that often as a challenge reward, which makes this one really worthwhile to grind. This reward will grant your character a glowing aura featuring floating crystals, with higher tiers increasing the brightness of the aura.
You can unlock tier 1 by completing 8 challenges, tier 2 at 16, tier 3 at 24, and tier 4 at 35.
This effect grants you crystal wings that resemble that of a butterfly. However, the higher the tier, the bigger the wings get. These wings serve as a back attachment that you can attach to your belt.
To unlock tier 1, you need to complete 10 challenges, tier 2 at 18, tier 3 at 26, and tier 4 at 38. Grinding all the way to 38 challenges can be tough. However, it’s definitely worth it if you’re aiming for tier 4 wings.
If you manage to unlock all 4 tiers for all of these cosmetic effects, your character will get a very bright glow as pictured below:
Apart from these, you can also unlock the Kalandra Challenger Trophy by completing 19-40 challenges.
