To start, you want to speak with Rog in your hideout to view the items he has in his shop. Then, you want to choose a base that you’ll be crafting later.
For this part, you want to choose an item with either 3 prefixes and 2 suffixes or 3 suffixes and 2 prefixes.
The gist is that you want to have at least one empty affix slot as we’ll be using the bench crafting method for this to work. Once you have chosen a base, all you have to do is buy it from Rog.
After clicking buy, Rog will offer you to either upgrade the item, which removes a modifier with the lowest level, or skip which will replace his offer with a new one.
Do take note that you won’t be able to skip two consecutive times. So if you skip an offer one time, you will be forced to upgrade the item on the next offer.
Ideally, we’re looking for offers such as:
- Add a Prefix/Suffix modifier X times, but only keep the best outcome.
- Reroll Prefixes/Suffixes X times, keeping the best outcome.
- Reroll the modifier values of Prefixes/Suffixes X times, keeping the best outcome.
What’s important to keep in mind is that you should always leave one empty affix slot, be it for a prefix or suffix modifier.
Crafting on a Bench
Once you’re satisfied with the affixes on your item, go to your crafting bench and add the final modifier of your choice depending on the item you’re using.
Since we’re using a shield as an example, you’ll want to add defense modifiers such as armor, evasion, and the like.
After that, all you have to do is sell the item to other players. Make sure to put a reasonable price for the item, assuming it’s something people are looking for.
Then, simply wait for someone to send you a chat in order to close the deal.
