V Blood Units are strong opponents you need to defeat in V Rising. According to the lore, these are beings created from the remnants of Dracula’s blood scattered across the world.
It basically rained red for seven days and seven nights after he was slain. Individuals hit by the rain mutated and have gotten so strong they start ruling their own domains.
V Blood Unit Explained in V Rising
There are various V Blood in the game, and each have their own mechanics, loots, and skill sets. Understanding them is one of the keys for smoother gameplay, but since the game is relatively new, some players may have a hard time defeating these bosses. But we got you!
Here are some of the things you need to know before tracking your first V Blood Unit.
Loots
After defeating V Blood Units, you’ll be rewarded with abilities and skills. Some bosses drop certain skills, so you should make it a habit to clear them from time to time to unlock special skills.
For example, Keely the Frost Archer will give you the Frost Bat skill, which will allow you to launch a projectile that explodes upon impact, dealing 100% magic damage and inflicting the Chill status on surrounding enemies. Hitting a chilled enemy freezes them for 4 seconds.
Apart from these magic abilities, V Blood units also drop recipes for furniture and items.
How To Find V Blood Units
First, build your Blood Altar in your stronghold. You can also assign one person in your clan to track another V Blood Unit and take advantage of the multiple hunting feature. To track a boss, open your Blood Altar, choose a V Blood Unit, and click “Track Blood.”
Once the track blood has been activated, you can see a blood trail on your screen which will lead you to the boss’ location. Their location can either be a permanent spawn area or a patrol route.
