Probably one of the most exciting features that players were hoping for, the all-new housing system allows players to make their own base on Artificial Island. It’s a new feature that’s part of the 1.5 update, and you can only gain access to this system once you made your way to Artificial Island.

In this guide, I’ll show you what you need to do in order to make your own base.

Housing Starter Guide | Artificial Island in Tower of Fantasy

Luckily, unlocking the new housing system in the game isn’t that complicated, you just have follow a few steps.

First off, you want to look for Kolador in Banges, but before doing so, make sure you accepted the invitation. You can find it in your Gifts tab. To arrive at Banges faster, you can just use the Banges dock spacerift.

Once you get there, look for Kolador who will take you to Artificial Island. At this point, all you need to do is finish the developer log quest in the area. As soon as you complete the quest, you’ll then be able to unlock the new housing system.

How the Housing System Works

You will be able to find the Build icon on your main menu. Simply use this to access your base anytime you want. From the start, you’ll be given 6 different buildings which you can place in various locations. These buildings are as follows:

  • Development Center
  • Kitty House
  • Machine Pod
  • Pawpaw House
  • Pumpkin House
  • Turtle House

You want to focus on the Development Center first as it will dictate the progress of all your buildings. If you leave it at level 1, then your other buildings won’t be able to level up past that. Meanwhile, the other five buildings are used for farming resources which you’ll need to further expand your base.

You can farm various resources by clearing the Hyena’s camp, and each enemy will drop various resources that you’ll need to upgrade your base. Apart from that, you can also defeat bosses in your zone which will drop tons of resources.

They’re not that hard to deal with, and I highly recommend farming them.
