Last Epoch: How to Use Rune of Ascendance

Last Epoch is a time travel RPG game where a mysterious force sends you into a ruined future. To save the world of Eterra from the Void, you must uncover the secrets of the past and reforge the future.

In a world of mage mastery, you must learn how to craft legendary weapons and explore dangerous dungeons. One of the items you’ll need to master along your journey is the Rune of Ascendance. That said, here’s how to use it.

How to Use Rune of Ascendance

The Rune of Ascendance is one of three chase crafting items. It has the power to transform an item into a random unique or a set of the same item, and it can create legendary items. Once you’ve acquired the consumable, you can start forging new items.

Forge New Items

The crafting system in Last Epoch allows players to modify items by adding, removing, or changing their Affix Shards. Each time you use a shard or rune in the forge, the forging potential of the item is reduced, as seen in the image above.

To craft items in the forge you must press “F” to open up the forge.

Once you’ve opened up the forge select an item from your inventory and place it in the open space, as seen in the image above.

Make sure to have enough forging potential left in your rune, or else the crafting process will not work.

To forge a new item click on the modifier button at the bottom of the screen. Then select the Rune Ascendance modifier to forge a new item with the consumable.

Crafting unique items is easy when you’ve got the potential to do it!
