Phoebe is the latest Resonator you can pull for in Wuthering Waves, so as always the question is: should you get her?

You can pull for Phoebe during her featured Resonator banner. It lasts from February 13th to March 6th. Phoebe is a Spectro Resonator who serves the role of a DPS. Her main quirk is that she takes full advantage of the new Spectro Frazzle stacking system. That gives a pretty fun and unique playstyle!

Read on and we’ll give you our reasons for why you should or should not pull for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves.

Reasons to Pull or Avoid Phoebe | Wuthering Waves

The Pros

First things first, you should pull for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves if you don’t really have a main Spectro DPS already. That is the role in which Phoebe excels, making her a valid hypercarry choice for content in which you require Spectro.

Further, one of the things that makes Phoebe shine is how easy it is to make teams for her. One of her best teammates currently is Rover (Spectro), which you get from the start of the game. This is mainly due to Rover’s ability to make use of Phoebe’s Spectro Frazzle applications, which no other Resonators can currently do.

Aside from Rover (Spectro), Phoebe also works well with a variety of other supports and sub-DPS Resonators such as Mortefi, Baizhi, Verina, and Shorekeeper. Pick any of these as your third character in a team alongside Phoebe and Rover (Spectro) and you’re all set! This makes her very F2P friendly, overall.

The Cons

On the downside, Phoebe is less worth pulling for if you already have a good Spectro DPS. Jinhsi in particular makes Phoebe unnecessary to have. This is further exasperated if you have a lot of good DPS units in general, not even just Spectro.

Phoebe is also overly reliant on the new Spectro Frazzle stacking effects. Currently, only Phoebe herself and Rover (Spectro) can capitalize on Spectro Frazzle stacking, which limits Phoebe’s potential. This is expected to change later on as we get more Resonators who use the new elemental effects system introduced in 2.0, of course. But, in the meantime, it does make Phoebe a bit less attractive as a unit.

Conclusion

In summary, you should pull for Phoebe in Wuthering Waves if you want an easy-to-build hypercarry Spectro DPS. She’s a fun character to play that has a new playstyle focused on Damage Over Time. She’s also really F2P-friendly, as her best teammate currently is Rover (Spectro) and she works well with a lot of support units. You don’t have to scramble to get other units to make her a worthwhile unit!

However, Phoebe relies heavily on Spectro Frazzle stacking, which isn’t currently properly capitalized upon by other Resonators. This can make her a bit underwhelming until we get more Resonators that can make use of Frazzle. Plus, she’s yet another DPS Resonator! If you have a solid selection of DPS units already, Phoebe is an easy skip. This is especially true if you already have Jinhsi, who’s a stronger Spectro DPS than Phoebe as of this writing.

So, there you have it, those are our reasons for why you should either pull or skip Phoebe. As with the vast majority of Resonators in this game, it ultimately comes down to whether she fits your team and playstyle. We hope this at least lets you know where her strengths and weaknesses lie so that you can decide!

Gacha systems aside, the latest updates also added the new Riccioli Islands sub-region. If you want to fully explore it, check out our Riccioli Islands 100% Exploration Progress guide.
