You’ll need to use Projector: Glommoth to shatter ice blocks as you explore the Roya Frostlands in Wuthering Waves.
This can be due to the various challenges found in the region, or also for the Unfrozen Traces event. Either way, it’s something you’ll need to learn to do at some point if you want to get the most loot possible!
In this guide, I’ll quickly tell you how to complete this objective with ease.
How to Use Project: Glommoth to Shatter Ice Blocks

The first thing you’ll need to do for this is to get Glommoth as an Echo. If you don’t have it yet, I recommend checking out our guide on how to get Glommoth for all of the details.
To keep things simple, though, you can find it roaming around the Resonance Nexus by the Ginnungamere Void Storm Monitoring Zone. It’s shown in the screenshot above.

Once you’ve managed to obtain Glommoth, make sure to assign it to a slot in your Projector.

Next up, you’ll need to find a specific type of ice blocks. There are multiple locations for these across Roya Frostlands, but I’ve marked an easy one to reach on the map above. It’s just southeast of the Ginnungamere Void Storm Monitoring Zone.
Once you reach the location, you should see dozens of ice crystals covering the entire area. Use your Projector here to summon the Glommoth and it will break them, as shown in the clip below.
At this point, you just need to sit back and watch the spectacle. That rampaging Glommoth sure knows how to break the ice, huh? The challenge will complete as soon as the Glommoth is done shattering the crystals.
So, there you have it! That’s all you need to do to complete the “use Projector: Glommoth to shatter ice blocks” challenge in Wuthering Waves. Good luck getting the Glommoth Echo!
