The Tapes of Last Words are a collectible that can be found all over Lahai-Roi. Roya Frostlands, being a sub-region of Lahai-Roi, is not an exception! You can find a total of 30 Tapes spread across these frostlands.
Ready to hoard up all these Tapes? Read on for all of their locations.
North of the Polar Research Outpost
Let’s start with a pretty simple one. Take the road north from the Polar Research Outpost and you’ll see the Tape of Last Words floating under the first frozen overhang. You can see it in the video below.

Above the road that goes south of Mount Gjallar, you should see a long protruding spike going west from the side of the mountain. You can see the SkyArk from there, for reference. The video below shows the area.
Near the Road to Mount Gjallar – 2 Tapes
Take the road that goes north through Mount Gjallar, then turn to the west right before getting to Mount Gjallar proper. You should see the first Tape of Last Words floating there, at the tip of a spike.
Then, after grabbing that first Tape, turn around and look northeast. You should see the second Tape of Last Words in front of a cluster of ice crystals. The next video shows both of their locations.
Westernmost Cliff Spike
For this one, you want to go to the long protruding spike off the westernmost edge of the region, overlooking the Oldfrost Harbor. As shown in the video below, you just need to walk up to the tip of the spike to find this Tape.
On the Way to Oldfrost Harbor
You can find this Tape of Last Words floating below a frozen overhang on your way to the Oldfrost Harbor area. It’s above the main road there, as you can see in the video below.
Tip of Mount Gjallar
For this next one, you’ll want to start by taking the road going northeast of Mount Gjallar. There, you’ll see a set of streams you can use to get to the top of Mount Gjallar. Make sure to activate the Resonance Beacon on the way here! You’ll need it later.
As you can see in the video below, the Tape of Last Words is at the very tip of the mountain, overlooking the SkyArk.
Floating by The SkyArk
Once you collect the previous Tape of Last Words, you’ll need to drop down from the tip of Mount Gjallar all the way down to the SkyArk. The Tape of Last Words is by the floating green cubes, as shown in the video below.
If you don’t get it, remember you can just warp to the Resonance Beacon from before and try again.
Inside the SkyArk’s Thrusters
For this one, start from the tip of Mount Gjallar again. I recommend using the Resonance Beacon there to make things easier. Jump down from the mountain and land on the central ring of the SkyArk’s thrusters to find this Tape, as shown in the video below.
Overhang in the Northern Road
Take the road leaving north of Mount Gjallar. One of the first overhangs above the road has this Tape of Last Words, as shown in the video below.
Inside Everfrost Cavern
Next up, you’ll need to go inside Everfrost Cavern, which is northeast of the SkyArk Space Station. The Tape of Last Words is floating above the water, close to the bottom of the cavern, as shown in the next clip.
Northern Road Icicles
For this one, go to the section covered in icicles along the middle of the northernmost road in the Starblind Crashsite area. The Tape of Last Words floats high up in the air there, above the icicles, as shown in this video.
That’s all of the Tape of Last Words locations in the Starblind Crashsite in Wuthering Waves! This area had the most Tapes out of all the Roya Frostlands, by far, that’s for sure.
