Destiny 2 is offering a super cool new emblem, called Risen, as part of a new promotional campaign with BiliBili.

You will need to sign up to BiliBili and “celebrate” the Chinese New Year with them by watching some streams. Watch enough streams and you’ll get to claim the emblem!

It’s quite an arduous process, though, due to the website mostly being in Chinese. Fear not, though, as we’re here to help you out.

Destiny 2: How to get the New Risen Emblem

The new “Risen” emblem is a temporary promotion in association with BiliBili, and it will last until February 15th, 2024. There’s an important thing to note before we dive into how to get it, though!

Getting the emblem will require you to use a Chinese website, with no official English text. We’ll make the process as simple as possible, but it can still be cumbersome to deal with.

If you would rather not deal with all of that, though, you should be happy to know that the Risen emblem will eventually be given out to everyone via promo codes.

However, the timing of that hasn’t been revealed yet. We only have the barebones announcement from the Destiny 2 official X account. It will most likely be announced after the current Lunar Year event ends, though.

Anyway, with all of that out the way, let’s go over how to get the new Risen emblem right away!

Sign Up for BiliBili

BiliBili Sign Up and Login Step 1

To start, head over to the official BiliBili website for the Destiny 2 promotion. Once there, click on the blue circle on the top right.

Then, switch to SMS Login by clicking on the text marked in the image above.

Click on the “+86” highlighted in the image to open a drop-down of all phone regional codes. Switch it to the one for your region. For example, United States users should select +1.

Type in your mobile phone number and then click on the blue text next to it. Now, just wait for you to receive an SMS with a verification code… it shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.

Linking Your Account

Button to link Destiny 2 and BiliBili accounts

Once you’ve logged into BiliBili, you will be on a landing page for the Destiny 2 Chinese New Year event. Your first order of business is simply to click on the green chain icon on the left side of the screen.

This will take you to the regular Destiny 2 log-in page. Just log in as you would normally to connect your Destiny 2 account to your BiliBili account!

Once you’ve linked your accounts, double-check that your Destiny 2 username and Bungie ID appear on the green text box.

Button to watch streams

If it’s all good, click on the purple button on the right side of the screen.

Getting the Rewards

Example of the eligible streams on BiliBili

You should now be in BiliBili itself. You’ll see a list of all eligible streams for the event. Simply click on any of them and watch them for about 5 minutes to get your rewards!

That said, some users report having to watch for far longer than 5 minutes, with some saying they didn’t get the new Risen emblem until after 30 minutes. We recommend letting the stream play for as long as you can.

If you don’t feel inclined to watch, you can just leave it playing while you go do something else.

Claim Rewards button

Once you’re done, go back to the landing page from earlier. This time, click on the red button next to the purple one.

Claim the Risen Emblem

You will be sent to the “Award Record” page, where you just need to click on the middle red button to get your fancy new Risen emblem.

If the option is greyed out, you need to watch the streams for longer.

Regardless, clicking on the button once it appears will instantly credit the Risen emblem to your account.

Risen emblem in the Collections in-game

You can acquire it from the “General” category under the “Flair” section of Collections in-game.

Phew, that was quite a process, right? Nonetheless, that’s how to get the extremely cool new “Risen” emblem in Destiny 2.
