There are a lot of dark places that you can get to discover during your playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom. Most of them are nearly impossible to navigate if you don’t have a proper light source.

While you can use items like Brightbloom Seeds to light up your way, they can sometimes prove to be inconvenient.

If you’re looking for a more permanent solution, then that would be the Miner’s set. In case you’re wondering, this is a new armor set that lets you light up dark places with no problem.

The only problem you’ll have to face is finding out its exact location. We’ve created this guide for that purpose. Let’s take a look at where you can find this set.

Where to Find the Miner’s Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Miner’s set is a three-piece set consisting of the Miner’s Mask, Miner’s Top, and Miner’s Trousers.

However, you won’t be able to find the entire set right away. Each piece of the set can be found in different locations.

To get started, you want to head to the Depths via the Hyrule Field Chasm.

Miner’s Top Location

After reaching the underground area, your first target should be the Miner’s Top as it’s the closest one to your location.

You’ll be able to find it near the Daphnes Canyon Mine just slightly northwest of the chasm entrance.

With the Iayasus Lightroot as your starting point, head all the way southwest until you reach the mine.

Once to get to the Daphnes Canyon Mine, you want to make your way to the small building at the top as shown in the image above. Inside it is a chest containing the Miner’s Top.

The next piece you want to obtain is the Miner’s Trousers which is located southwest of the Great Abandoned Central Mine.

From the Daphnes Canyon Mine, head directly south until you arrive at the Great Abandoned Central Mine. Alternatively, if you have the Koradat Lightroot, you can just fast travel to it.

As soon as you get there, jump off the ledge to the south and use your glider. The Hylia Canyon Mine will be directly below you. Land on the building highlighted in the image above.

Inside this building is the chest that contains the Miner’s Trousers.

Miner’s Mask Location

The last piece, which is the Miner’s Mask, is located in the Abandoned Kara Kara Mine. You’ll find it just west of the Great Abandoned Central Mine.

To obtain it, fast travel to the Tatayam Lightroot. Once you arrived, simply turn back and you should be able to find a huge open building.

Right in the middle will be the chest containing the Miner’s Mask.

Now that you’ve collected all pieces of the Miner’s set, let’s look at what it has to offer.

First, wearing the full set will surround you with a bright light that will light up a pretty decent area around you.

This is quite useful when navigating dark areas, especially in the Depths.

Second, you’ll be able to obtain a buff called Shining Steps as the bonus for wearing the set. This will light up your footsteps to help further illuminate your surroundings.

However, you need to unlock the bonus first by upgrading each piece using Brightbloom Seeds, Brightcaps, Glowing Cave Fish, and Deep Fireflies.
