Bosses in Slime Rancher 2 are not the typical big, scary, and deadly monsters you often meet inside other games. But the bosses in this game are cute, harmless, immovable, and yes… they are big, too.
These gigantic slimes are called Gordo Slimes. These Gordo Slimes are created after a large community of slimes of the same kind combined. There’s no need for you to fight them to defeat them—violence is not a choice in this game. All you have to do is feed them plenty of foods of the same kind until they explode into normal sizes of slimes. Each Gordo Slime differ in the food requirement and the number of food before it explode.
Since there are several types of slimes, there are also different islands in Slime Rancher 2. And for each island, there are specific types of slimes that inhabits it.
To know more about the locations of all the Gordo Slimes, we made this guide for you.
All Bosses Locations in Slime Rancher 2
As mentioned previously, several Gordo Slimes can be found in different islands. However, Slime Rancher 2 is just a newly released game so the number of existing Gordo Slimes is still few. Having said that, the locations that will be covered in this guide are just for the existing Gordo Slimes only.
Once the game progresses and releases a new update, expect for additional locations of these gigantic slimes.
In this first island, you can already spot three different Gordo Slimes. You can already consider it a jackpot if you are on a Gordo Slime hunting spree.
For the first area in this map, you can see the Phosphor Gordo. It is a big sky-blue Gordo with four antlers. You can go here by heading to the west side of your home. Keep on walking next to the rock wall until you reach the end of the cliff. Drop yourself there and you will see a cave. Explore the area and you will see the Phosphor Gordo.
On the second location is where the Cotton Gordo resides. It is a pastel yellow Gordo with two pairs of whiskers and ears like a bunny. To go to its location, go to the ridge south of the central plain. Keep on walking and follow a curved path. If you keep on walking, you will end up meeting this beautiful Cotton Gordo.
While the third location is where you can find the Pink Gordo. As implied in its name, this is a giant pink blob with no ears, antlers, or whiskers—just plain blob, happily smiling. From the location of the Cotton Gordo, travel to its north and make sure to avoid Tar Slimes. Basically, just have to keep on walking north until you see this pink, happy, blob of slime.
In this map area, there is only one Gordo Slime you can meet and it is the Hunter Gordo. To go here, teleport to this island and travel south.
Keep walking next to the western cliff edge until you see packs of blue feral slimes. When you see this, all you have to do is run past them and there, you will eventually meet the Hunter Gordo.
Just like in the Starlight Strand, there is also only one Gordo Slime you can meet here, and that would be the Batty Gordo. This giant slime is located at the center of the island.
There, you will encounter a cave going to a volcanic chamber. When you enter this cave, you will see Boom and Crystal slimes, and of course, lava. Be careful as you walk inside as you can receive damage from them. Keep walking until you reach the bottom part of the cave, and there you will meet the Batty Gordo.
Genshin Impact: All Primal Embers Locations in Try to Open the Coffin
Opening the coffin in The Secret of Al-Ahmar questline in Genshin Impact requires you to locate and release four Primal Embers.
In Genshin Impact, players can now obtain the questline “Golden Slumber,” which will have players trying to open the tomb of the late Scarlet King, King Deshret.
To do this, players will have to release four Primal Embers and follow them to their corresponding Primal Torches within the Mausoleum of King Deshret.
These Primal Embers are found fairly easily within the Mausoleum of King Deshret, and we’ll tell you all locations in “Try to Open the Coffin,” so you can unlock the secrets of the Scarlet King.
Take the stairs upward to the right-hand side of the main room. Then, take the far left corridor behind the trap mechanism there. Keep moving down the corridor until you reach the room with the Seelie.
Take another left into a new corridor, where you will swing yourself up to the upper level (Four-Leaf Sigil) towards the direction of the mural there. ‘Release’ the first Primal Ember here, and follow it to light the first Primal Torch.
Take the stairs on the right-hand side of the main room. This time, take the far-right corridor that is near the trap mechanism. You’ll then need to open the door with the Blue Book mechanic in front of it.
After this, follow down the corridor and take the right-hand path. Again, look up towards the mural and swing yourself to the upper level. Release the Primal Ember here and follow it to the second Primal Torch.
Take the stairs to the left-hand side of the main room. Then, head over into the right corridor. On your right side, take the first path. Head towards the mural and glide using the wind currant to land on the higher platform level. Release the third Primal Ember here and guide it to the third Primal Torch.
Take the stairs to the left-hand side of the main room. Head instead toward the left corridor. Keep an eye out for the mural on the left-hand side and swing yourself up to the upper level using Four-Leaf Sigil. Here you can release the fourth and final Primal Ember.
Some guides may indicate the Primal Embers done in different order, which doesn’t matter – as long as you are able to release all four, you’ll be able to complete the objective and quest.
After you’re located all four Primal Embers at their respective locations and released them to their Primal Torches, a cutscene will be played involving the opening of the coffin.
