The main tip is to aim to upgrade your weapons as soon as you land. Weapons in Super People like the SKS can be upgradable from Uncommon to Heroic. You can achieve this by crafting.

In the inventory above the gun icon, there’s a blueprint icon. Once you open it, it will bring you to the crafting menu. To reach the highest level, you must gather all the materials necessary to craft it.
Hovering your mouse over each section will indicate what items you need to go to the next step.
The parts to use for the crafting of better guns can be found scattered throughout the map. They can be commonly found in buildings like Houses and Warehouses in the common locations that you land.
Another great tip especially if you’re a solo run is to use the class Driver. The driver allows you to spawn a vehicle instantly, allowing you to quickly collect the parts needed to upgrade your weapons
However, if you’re not a driver it’s still recommended to get on a Vehicle as fast as possible to quickly get the parts needed to craft. Vehicles are usually situated beside roads, so keep an eye on them.
