Super People’s Early Access version is finally out, giving players a chance to play the game during its early stages of development. However, as the game isn’t fully completed yet, it’s not surprising to encounter some bugs along the way.

Some people reported experiencing random crashes, black screens, and even error messages each time they launch the game. Luckily, there are some fixes to these issues. Let’s find out how.

How to Fix Error Message, Black Screen, and Crashing Issue in Super People

As a game in its early development phase, it’s understandable that Super People has some performance issues present. Unfortunately, this has greatly affected the experience of some players who just want to try the game out.

If you’re one of those players who are suffering from poor performance issues, then you might want to try out these fixes:

Update Your Graphics Driver

Probably the most common reason for poor performance issues in Super People and any other game is an outdated graphics driver. For this, you want to download the latest driver for your GPU from your manufacturer’s website.

Simply look for the driver for your specific graphics card model. If you don’t know what your GPU model is, press the Windows key + R at the same time. In the blank field, type in “dxdiag” without the quotation marks. Press Enter, and click on the Display tab to show the details of your card.

After that, head over to download the appropriate driver and install it afterward. This should resolve most of the issues related to performance with Super People.

Download and Install Visual C++ to Your System

In some cases, an outdated version of C++ in your system can lead to poor performance issues not just in games but in your computer as a whole. Luckily, you can fix this by simply downloading the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package.

For this, you want to visit this link:

After that, download the right package depending on your system. If you have a 32-bit system, download the X86 file, and if you have a 64-bit system, download the X64 file. After downloading the file, simply follow the installation instructions.

Once done, restart your computer and try to launch the game to see if the issue is no longer there.

Verify the Game’s Files

To do so, go to your Steam Library and look for Super People. Right click on it and then click Properties. Under Local Files, click on the Verify integrity of game files option. This process will attempt to find any corrupted files that might be present in your game’s folder.

If there are corrupted or missing files, it will then attempt to download fresh copies. After the process is over, try launching your game to check if the issue still persists.

Install the Latest DirectX Version

Another useful fix is to install the latest version of DirectX on your computer. Simply head over to the official Microsoft website and look for the latest DirectX version available. For Super People, you’ll need DirectX 12 and higher in order to run the game.
