COD Modern Warfare 2: How to Slide Cancel

Modern Warfare 2 started its open beta for All Playstation Access, while the open beta for everyone will be on September 24. Players can access Multiplayer mode and go against other players. We are going to show you how to do the Slide Cancel trick in Modern Warfare 2.

How to Slide Cancel Guide in Modern Warfare 2

The game Modern Warfare 2 is a sequel to Modern Warfare that was released in 2019. The Multiplayer mode in the open beta reveals new features. With the addition of aquatic battles, you can now swim in the game, instead of instantly dying when you hit the water.

There is also a new mechanics where you can slide or dive to the floor, or hang from a ledge. Read on to learn about the Slide Cancel trick.

Before you do the trick, it is better to turn on the Automatic Tactical Sprint. You just need to go options, then select settings, select controller or keyboard and mouse.

Click on the gameplay section and pick the Automatic Tactical Sprint option in Automatic Sprint. Enabling this allows you to sprint immediately after doing the slide cancel.

In the Playstation 5, you can also turn off the Trigger Effects. Meanwhile, you can take advantage of the Controller Vibration to slide cancel easier. To do the trick you just need to do a slide, aim down sight, and lastly, jump to cancel.

You may not be successful during your first attempts, and that’s okay. Just do it gradually until you can get the groove of it.
