Cosmetics in Last Epoch are items you can use to change the visual appearance of your player character. They allow you to change your look in the game without having any effect on your Stats. It is the closest you currently get to customizing your base character and making it your own! Here is how to do it from within the game!
How to Open Menu and Change Cosmetics
First and foremost you need to make sure that you are playing online. There is no way to edit the cosmetics while you are playing offline.
To get to the cosmetics menu, click on the little icon with three lines next to the Shop in the bottom right of the screen. The main menu pops up and from there you can select Cosmetics.
Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Shift+K to go straight to the cosmetics menu.
With the cosmetics menu open make sure you are on the appearance tab. In this menu, you can change the look of your equipment skins, pets, and skill effects!
Click on a slot and select the item you want to attach from the window that pops up. You can also select ‘Buy items for this slot’ at the bottom of the window to get some if you don’t have any!
Your pets, equipment, and effects will be equipped once you close the menu!
How to Get Cosmetics?
Cosmetics are available for purchase through the Shop using Epoch Points which act as currency for paid micro-transactions. Epoch Points can be purchased on Steam. You will also be able to get them for participation or awards for events, and some may be attained through gameplay.
Have fun customizing your characters! Look good, feel good, play good!
