Weapons play an integral role in Genshin Impact. After all, you will need them in order to maximize your damage output and take on the hardest content in the game without any major issues. However, getting 5-star weapons in the game can be rather quite hard.

Besides, a lot of players are content with just having 4-star weapons since they’re enough to take on most content anyway. Also, getting a 5-star weapon would mean spending a ton of Primogems which a normal free-to-play player just won’t be able to achieve.

However, if you’re intent on min-maxing, then there are several 5-star weapons that are really worth investing in. Let’s have a look at what these are below.

Which are The Best Weapons You Should Invest In Genshin Impact

There are five of these 5-star weapons that are surely worth investing in. In fact, you won’t even regret doing so due to how effective and powerful they are. Without further ado, these are the following:

Mistsplitter

The Mistsplitter is a cool-looking sword that also offers excellent performance. For starters, it has a base attack of 674 which is one of the highest in the game so far. It only has a 44.1% base crit damage which is very powerful as long as you have a high crit chance.

Besides, the weapon will grant up to 40% bonus elemental damage which is insanely good considering how hard it is to obtain this stat.

Staff of Homa

Despite being in the game for two years already, the Staff of Homa still holds its place as one of the most overpowered weapons in the game. It has a base attack of 608 as well as a whopping 66.2% crit damage. Then there’s the passive which grants a 20% increase to your max HP. Apart from that, it also grants an ATK bonus which is equal to 0.8% of your max HP.

Lastly, once your HP reaches below 50%, that ATK bonus will go up to an extra 1% of your max HP.

Elegy for the End

As far as support weapons go, this is no doubt the best one you can use in the game currently. With a base attack of 608 and a 55.1% crit damage, it surely packs a decent punch as a support weapon. However, where it truly shines is on its passives.

For one, it increases your Elemental Mastery by 60. You will also gain a Sigil of Remembrance each time you hit your enemies with an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. Upon gaining 4 Sigils of Remembrance, you will then consume all of them. This will then grant your party the Millenial Movement: Farewell Song effect.

In case you’re wondering, this is a buff that increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and ATK by 20%.

Jade Cutter

One of the coolest looking swords in the game, the Jade Cutter sets itself apart as one of the strongest as well. With a base attack of 542 and a crit rate of 44.1%, you’re basically proccing critical hits with this weapon every now and then.

Its insanely hit crit rate means that you don’t have to even bother increasing your crit rate. After all, it can singlehandedly take care of that for you.

Aside from that, it has a passive that’s similar to the Staff of Homa. However, its ATK bonus is based on 1.2% of your max HP.

Engulfing Lightning

The last one on the list is Engulfing Lightning which is a polearm with a base attack of 608 and a 55.1% recharge rate. This makes it a really solid choice for Raiden, though several other characters can benefit from it as well.

Its passive grants you a 28% ATK bonus based on your Energy Recharge rate once it goes beyond 100%, with a maximum bonus of 80%.

You can also gain a 30% Energy Recharge for a certain duration when using an Elemental Burst. This effect greatly synergizes with the weapon’s base stats. This allows it to provide you with a quick and easy bonus to your ATK.
