There are so many combinations of builds you can make in Elden Ring. You can experiment with a myriad of sets to arrive at the most suitable match for your class. The Sorcery Sentinel is one of the many builds that players want to have.

How to Build a Sorcery Sentinel in Elden Ring

The Sorcery Sentinel is a late-game build in Elden Ring that does tons of physical damage because of its strength and dexterity scaling. At the same time, it also deals decent magic damage at range. Find out how to build a Sorcery Sentinel with this guide.

Weapon & Skills

For weapons, the Watchdog’s Staff is highly recommended because of its unique ability, Sorcery of the Crozier. This does a tracking projectile spell at distance that deals pretty good damage, that is like a caster. At the same time, you’re also using a colossal weapon with high strength and dexterity. This weapon allows you to deal decent magic damage with no points in intelligence and faith.

Armor

When it comes to Armor, the Omensmirk Mask increases strength by another two points. The Okina Mask can also be used for dexterity but you will have to put some points in endurance since it is heavy. Then, the Raptor’s Black Feathers can increase your jump attack damage by 10 percent although you can choose to use a more protective chest armor if you want. The other two armor pieces aren’t that important as long as they give you decent protection.

Talismans

Talismans, on the other hand, have a lot of options. Magic Scorpion Charm increases the damage of your weapon ability. Carian Filigreed Crest reduces the FP cost of your weapon ability down to 15-12, which will allow you to use your ability more frequently. Claw Talisman increases your jump attack damage even further. Lastly, Ancestral’s Spirit Horn can increase your FP as you kill enemies.

Stats

For your Sorcery Sentinel’s stats, focus on Vigor, Strength, and Dexterity. You will need a bunch of health to help keep you alive since you will often trade damage with this aggressive build. Strength and Dexterity are there to increase the overall damage of your weapon.
