Keys, also known as Keycards, are items that allow you to open certain rooms in The Cycle Frontier. On top of that, they’re highly coveted by players and can be used as bargaining chips in trades!
Whether your want to use them yourself or trade them with other players, read on and we’ll tell you how to farm as many keys as you want.
Keycards are primarily found in 4 specific lootables: briefcases, jackets, luggage, and safes. To farm them efficiently, you will want to look for areas with a high density of these containers.
Also, we recommend using a free loadout when farming for keys. This will reduce the risk of losing anything valuable, plus you’ll be able to just put keycards in your safe pockets as well.
Now, let’s go over the best farming spots on both maps.
Where to Find Keycards in Crescent Falls
The absolute best spot on this map is the Starport Admin building and its surroundings. This is around the center of the map, north of the pond area.
It has, by far, the highest density of the 4 lootables we mentioned previously.
On top of that, it’s a high-danger zone. This means that it has tougher enemies, but also has rarer rewards. This will increase the likelihood of getting keycards.
As soon as you enter the Starport Admin building itself, thoroughly explore the area and loot every container you find. Of course, prioritize the 4 types mentioned above. It’s as simple as that!
Where to Find Keycards in Bright Sands
In this region, you will want to head to the Base Camp area. This is pretty much smack dab in the middle of the map, so it should be pretty easy to find.
The area is completely littered with luggage cases, which should have some keycards for you. Loot them as you make your way toward the main building.
The main building has lots of jackets and briefcases as well, loot them all. Hopefully, you’ll get a few keys out of it.
This place isn’t quite as efficient as Crescent Falls, overall. However, it’s close to a few spawn points so it can be hit really quickly.
In short, this doesn’t have the best amount of containers, or the highest chance for Keycards, but it can be repeated frequently in short play sessions.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
