Last Epoch is a popular ARPG which offers players a wide variety of powerful items and enchantments they can craft or equip. Exalted items are one of the most sought after drops in the game, due to their amazing stats boost.
Exalted items can be acquired through monolith runs in the endgame and become more frequent as you progress. In this guide, we’ll cover all there is to know about crafting exalted items and how you can get your hands on them.
How to Craft Exalted Items
Exalted items are purple items that can be acquired from monolith runs and have at least one tier of affixes but can be crafted up to tier 5 affixes in the forge.
The higher the tiered item the more rare and powerful the item is, making them highly sought after. These purple drop items can used as a base with Unique items to craft Legendary items.
To modify Exalted items in the game, you’ll need to have enough Forging Potential and the Rune of Ascendancy.
Forge
Exalted items have one stat line with a significantly increased power rating. The item’s additional stat lines can also be further exalted to enhance their power.
To enhance the stat line of an exalted item you will need to access the forge by pressing “F“, as seen in the image above.
Once at the forge, you’ll need to place the exalted item you wish to modify into the open slot on the forge. Select the Rune of Ascendance as a modifier item, and click on the stone. The item will now be exalted even further.
Glyphs of Despair
Glyphs of Despair are extremely valuable modifying items that allow you to seal off an unwanted affix on an exalted item. You can seal off an unwanted affix of an exalted item within the forge and create items with several exalted lines.
The Glyphs of Despair should be kept for the end stages of the game when a player has acquired powerful items that are worth modifying.
Keep a close eye out for the tier 7 exalted drops, you’ll need them to craft legendary items used to defeat the dungeon bosses!
