Many players prefer using controllers when gaming due to the comfort they provide. One of the major drawbacks of the controller though is the worse aim. To compensate for this, many games provide aim-assist for controllers.
Dying Light 2 also has aim assist for controllers, which is automatically turned on. For players who want to play the game without aim-assist, you will need to turn it off. We will be looking at how to turn off aim-assist in Dying Light 2.
How to Turn Off Auto Aim
Auto aim-assist can be turned off through the game’s Controls.
To get to Controls, you will need to pause the game and select Options from the pause menu.
Once you select Options, you will need to head on over to the Controls tab located at the top of your screen. From here, you will need to first make sure that the Configuration is Gamepad. If you are playing on a PC, the default Configuration will be Keyboard and Mouse.
You can find the Auto-Aim option a little bit below the Configuration one. By default, Auto-Aim will be on. To turn it off, simply change it from on to off. Other than the Auto-Aim option, you will also find Auto-Aim for Melee Weapons here.
If you happen to change your mind later and want Auto-Aim on, you can always just come back and change the setting accordingly.
