Vampire Survivors is a game that pits players against endless waves of monstrous enemies. The name of the game is survival which means you’ll need to outlast the difficult horde for freaking 30 minutes to complete a stage.
As such, players often have a save file to keep track of their progress. However, sometimes players have the need to delete or reset their progress but the game doesn’t present a straightforward way of doing so. Some players even think that resetting your progress is outright impossible.
Fortunately, there is a way to delete your save file. This guide is going to quickly teach you exactly that. Let’s dive in.
How to Reset Your Progress in Vampire Survivors
In Vampire Survivors, there are two main ways you can go about deleting your save file. Let’s go through each of them and present each step one by one.
First Method
This one is my preferred method because it’s the easiest one.
First, go to the properties’ local files then browse. That will open up the in-game files.
Once you are in the file, go to resources – app – webpack – renderer. Inside the renderer file will be the saved files themselves.
You can take a peek at it if you want, but you can delete the file itself to save some time.
If you want to make sure, however, you can make a backup file beside it. Simply copy its contents and rename it as a backup.
Second Method
The second one requires a bit more digging.
Go to AppData then roaming. Inside there is a file with the word “Data”, a file that has a number on it, and a vampire survivors file.
Once you find the file, you can actually straight up delete them each. Like the previous one, you can keep a backup if you want and once you start a new game it will get rebuilt.
