Hogwarts Legacy features a lot of arachnids and spiders as one of its most common enemy types.
Spiders are generally weak enemies, but they can pose a threat when you don’t know how to deal with them. Be careful of getting swarmed by groups of them, too!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you the best and quickest way to deal with spiders in the game.
Best Way to Kill Spiders in Hogwarts Legacy
The most effective method to dispatch these arachnid foes is a combination of spells. Thankfully, both of these spells are learned early on in the game’s story!
First, cast Accio on them to pull them toward you while also weakening them and making them vulnerable for a bit. Then cast Incendio to deal massive damage to them.
Incendio has a very short range which is usually a problem, but Accio will cover that weakness.
Learn to make good use of this spell combination, and you should have very little trouble dealing with spiders as you explore Hogwarts and its vicinity!
You will learn Accio when you attend the Charms Class on your first day at Hogwarts and is part of the story. Meanwhile, you will learn Incendio Professor Hecat’s Assignment which is another early story quest.
Both of these spells can be improved even further with the use of Talents, as well.
Incendio Mastery will create a ring of fire around you every time you cast Incendio. Accio Mastery will make Accio pull clusters of enemies instead of only pulling single targets.
Learn both of these talents and you will be able to easily defeat large groups of spiders!
Get into the groove of instantly casting Accio and Incendio in quick succession and you will never have trouble with them again.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
