How to Catch a Fugu Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll only be able to locate Fugu Fish in the ‘Dazzle Beach Biome.’ You’ll then have to ensure you look out for bubbling spots in the water, and wait for a thunderstorm to hit the village.

Dazzle Beach is actually one of the first area locations (biome) you’ll be exploring in your playthrough. If you have yet to unlock it, you can do so by spending 1,000 Dreamlight.

Once you’ve noticed an actual thunderstorm, not just rain, you should locate a character that provides a buff to your fishing with a high friendship level. When traveling to Dazzle Beach with them, if you end up successful in catching any Fugu Fish, their accompaniment can help you double up on your loot.

Once at the Dazzle Beach Biome, start looking out for bubbling spots in the water nearby. You can find them anywhere – including near the docks.

Given that the generation of the Fugu is random, you can farm them from any spot. However, many gamers report having better luck near central story locations, like Goofy’s Stall.

If you sell Fugu to Goofy, you’ll get an impressive 900 star coins per fish. Alternatively, there are two recipes that call for Fugu: Fugu Sushi, and Steamed Fugu.
