A Plague Tale Requiem: How to Get Bracer for Amicia | Silos Puzzle Guide

Surviving in A Plague Tale Requiem requires you three things. A decent knowledge of puzzle solving, a good head of planning your strategies, and fast hands for you to dodge faster and get the first shot in before the enemy knows what hit them.

There are a number of secret items scattered across the levels for you to acquire good equipment to augment your movement, armor or attack speed which will be a huge deal as you go through the Plague infested lands of this game.

In this guide, we will be walking you through how to get one of these secret items called the Bracer, which gives you an attack speed boost when facing enemies in A Plague Tale Requiem.

Guide on How to Get a Bracer for Amicia in A Plague Tale Requiem

The Bracers are located behind a hidden door below ground that leads to a smuggler’s hideout in chapter 9. You won’t be able to access the area immediately.

To Unlock the passage to the Smuggler’s hideout, you will need to solve the Silo Puzzle. This area will have 4 windmills and you will have to stop two of these Silos from working to Unlock the secret area.

Deactivate the two windmills from the entrance of the area

From the map entrance, stop at the two closest windmills. Do this by going inside the windmill and heading over to the second floor where you will have to push a lever to deactivate them.

Head to the second windmill and deactivate it

Do this to the second windmill as well. As for the remaining two windmills, leave them working. If any of the windmills are closed, then you will have to open them.

The end Puzzle should be x2 windmills active and x2 windmills shut down. If you do this right, you will hear a distant click that Sophia will comment about.

Head past the stone arc pillars and search for the tunnel entrance

Head back and look for a path that takes you past the stone arc pillars. Once you reach the bottom, head right and look for a ladder to take you to the underground Cave.

Make your way deeper into the Cave to the entrance of the previously sealed area

Head deeper into the Cave. Go past low Cave walls and navigate to the entrance of the previously sealed area.

Head down the stairs past the wooden bridges and make your way deeper into the Smuggler’s hideout.

Grab the Bracer from a pile of loot inside the Smuggler hideout

Follow the path past the bridge. This will lead you to the smuggler’s treasure room. Open the chest to get some loot and pick the Bracer up from a pile where a skeleton is sitting beside a table with a small chest. The Bracer will be on top of it.
