The Finals has only been out for a few days now, but already the developers are listening to fans of the game and updating the bugs that had been identified on its release.
The game is a free-to-play first-person shooter. You are placed in teams and thrown into destructible environments, where the emphasis is on blowing up your surroundings to take down your opponents.
New Update Guide (December 2023)
Fixes
In a message released from the developers, they highlighted the following points as areas they have fixed or updated in this recent update:
There are now OCE and SA servers availablein the game where there wasn’t upon release. To select these, head to the settings menu and search for the temporary title of Brazil to engage.
Console players will have cross-play set to off, so for fans who found it took a while to find matches, know that if you turn it on you’ll quickly find games with people on all platforms.
They have made several changes to the movement animations for players that felt they were too dissimilar from the closed beta.
They have also recommended that for players that especially liked the look and feel of the closed beta, they should: Go to video settings and set Field-Of-View (FOV) to 90 or higher.
SIDE NOTE: If you’re looking for the best controller settings, make sure to check out our guide on that as well.
