Are you having trouble getting hits on your enemies? Do you feel your aim is floaty or off?
Since its launch day, Overwatch 2 has felt cluttered and it has been plagued with bugs and glitches that have had both newcomers and old time-players feel the aim was strange, and while there is little one can do for issues that are server-sided, it does not mean our hands are completely tied. Changing this setting will help you instantly improve your aim and visibility.
Improve Your Aim and Visibility by Changing This Setting in Overwatch 2
The settings you want to change to improve your aim and visibility are in the Accessibility tab.
You will want to experiment with camera shake and HUD shake, either by reducing them or removing them completely. Their default values can be too much and even cause eye strain, so find the setting that make you the most comfortable.
Another recommendation is going to the Video tab and leaving the refraction quality value in low. In the Sounds tab, you can activate night mode to avoid sensory overload if you are sensible to it or would just like to face it less. Move on to the Controls tab now and in the Advanced controller settings disable the Aim Smoothing option for a huge improvement as one of the game glitches is directly related to it.
For the last setting to change, move over to Gameplay and turn on the High Precision Mouse Input.
With all of this done you’ll see and feel the improvement in your game’s experience. Tweak with all these options and values until you find the one that accommodates you best.
