This provides both old and new players with a degree of customization options for their preferred characters.

In order to change a certain hero’s skin in Overwatch 2, you want to head over to the main menu and choose the Heroes tab. Here, choose which hero you want to alter the appearance of, and this will then take you to that hero’s page.

On the left panel, you’ll find the very first option which is Skins. Choose that option, and it will then provide you with a list of skins that you can equip on that particular hero. It will show you the available skins that you have as well as the ones that you can purchase.

At this point, it’s easy as choosing which skin you want and then equipping it on that hero.

If you forgot to change the skin of a hero you want to play via the first method, then there’s still another method you can use. However, you can only do this right before a game starts, and there’s no way to do so once you’re in the middle of a match.

After loading into a match, choose the hero you want to play as in the hero selection screen. Then, look for a dropdown box in the upper right corner. This will show you the current skin applied to the hero you chose.

Interact with the box to show a list of available skins that you have for that hero. After that, simply pick which skin you want to use and equip it.
