Sadly, at the time of this writing, there is no way to reset your talents in the game Icarus. This means that every talent you decide to get is final for your character. No take backs. Think very carefully on which talents you wish to pick whenever you spend your talent points.

Some Tips on Which Talents to Pick

Combat talents are, generally speaking, not really all that useful. So, spending your talent points on tech talents is recommended. Unlocking better gear will more than make up for any lack of combat-specific talents.

On the other hand, talents that increase your movement speed are very highly recommended. You simply can not go wrong with higher speed. By the same token, stamina talents are almost essential too. Increasing your health and HP regen is also very highly recommended. All of these types of talents can be found in the Solo talent tree.

Additionally, the Survival tree is also worth investing into. It can help you gather more resources faster. It also can increase your weight limits, allowing you to carry more things at once. There are also talents that make you use up less resources. For example, less water and oxygen consumption. These are very useful talents to consider.

Ultimately, with no respect in the game in its current state, you just have to carefully think about your choices. Again, the Combat talents aren’t very useful in comparison to Survival and Solo. It’s recommended to focus on those talent trees.
