Disney Dreamlight Valley: Breaking the Ice Quest Guide

Disney Dreamlight Valley has many quests, ranging from simple ones that gives you XP and Star Coins, Friendship level quests that rewards you with you upgraded tools, clothes, furniture, etc., or quests that are tied to the main story.

One of the quests you can receive is “Breaking the Ice,” and we are going to show you how to complete it.

Breaking the Ice Quest Guide in Dreamlight Valley Quest

The Breaking the Ice quest is given by Frozen’s Elsa when you invite her to your valley. But before Elsa can reside in your valley, you need to invite Anna first by doing the Spirits of Nature quest and reaching Friendship Level 2 with her. Completing the quest will permanently upgrade your Royal pickaxe, allowing you to easily break the ice.

Completing the Breaking The Ice Quest

The “Breaking the Ice” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires you to craft the Warmth of Summer Potion and give it to Elsa to upgrade your Royal Pickaxe. You are going to need 5 materials, and these are:

• 1 Vial of Ocean Water
• 5 Sunflower
• 5 Lemon
• 2 Sugarcane
• 3 Garlic

Dazzle Beach

The Vial of Ocean Water can be obtained in the area in Dazzle Beach indicated by a circle in the picture above.

You can gather sunflowers anywhere on the beach, while sugarcane seeds can be bought in Goofy’s stall. Buy the seeds, plant them, then harvest them once they are grown.

Forest of Valor

Garlic and lemon can be obtained in the Forest of Valor. Bring a forager character, like Anna, to get more items.

When you have all of the items, craft the Warmth of Summer Potion on the crafting table and give it to Elsa. Enter the Ice Cavern by breaking the ice. Follow Elsa and explore the Ice Cavern. Break the ice inside the cave.

Obtain the Blue Crest and talk to Elsa once again. Place the Blue Crest on the Wall. Talk to Elsa again and finish the quest.
