You have an entire arsenal that you’re sitting on that keeps on growing beyond your own control and now the next thing you’re thinking of doing is how to effectively solo Legendary Lost Sectors. You know, for style points. Now it can be quite overwhelming, thinking about the perfect loadout and what to even do with it the moment you think you have it all figured out. Destiny has a record of being kind and cruel like that when it comes to handing out options to its players. But worry not, that’s what we’re here for! In this guide we’ll show you exactly what to do in order to complete Perdition Lost Sector from the bottom up!
Loadouts & Strategies | Destiny 2: Perdition Legendary Lost Sector – Solo & Flawless
You’re going to have to make a few changes to your current class, weapon, and mod loadout if you want to be as efficient as possible for this venture. Or you can just make a new one while following this guide. So let’s start with that before you head out.
For the class loadout you can use a Warlock Stormcaller combined with a Crown of Tempests helmet. Put these on to increase your Super duration when you get kills with Stormtrance.
Since you will be stunning Barriers and Void Shields an Arbalest would be recommended for your weapon loadout as well as a Scout Rifle for stunning Overloads. Finally an Ark Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle would be useful as wellin order to make the most out of your burned damage boost.
Now onto mods. We’ll start with a class item so run with a Lucient Finisher to spawn some Heavy ammo for yourself when you’re dealing with Champions. For your leg armor you can go ahead and use Scavenger mods.
You can use the seasonal mod Energy Diffusion for your chest armor as it will decrease incoming damage from all sources. You won’t be needing any secondary mods so reserves will do. Don’t forget to equip your champion mods for your gauntlets!
Finally for the helmet put on some ammo finder mods. This is what we use so go ahead and copy it or use it as a template before you head out.
Once you’ve spawned in with your gear what you can do is either stay on the walkway or use the boxes for cover. Clear this area of all the Harpie’s and focus on the mini Hydra boss in in the adjacent room. Get rid of that now or it will teleport further into the lost sector.
Heading further into the room you will find a large box and once you approach it you’ll have more enemies to shoot including a Minotaur. Jump on top of the box to quickly clear the room because halfway through the last wave will spawn in the back including an Overload Champion.
Either continue using the box for cover or jump down and lure the Overload towards you for an easy kill or even a finisher.
Move forward and up the stairs to the next room. Again you can use the boxes or the wall by the top of the stairs for cover while dealing with everything that’s moving including another Overload.
After clearing the wave go further into the room to spawn in the next wave. Feel free to retreat back to the stairs for cover as it’s much safer there. Two Barrier Champions will spawn once you do this, ignore them for now and focus on the additional enemies first.
If one of the Barriers is on the stairs use the opportunity to single it out and get rid of it. After that another wave will spawn including two Wyverns. Consider them as the main threat of this room. Get acquainted with the walls as you will be using them again for cover until you get to the boss room.
Now this is the place where you’ll want to make use of your Super as there are no more Champions left to kill. Go crazy and unleash it in no specific order. And there you go! That’s how you complete the Perdition Lost Sector Solo and Flawless on Legendary Difficulty. Now go, those guns won’t shoot themselves!
Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
