Rogue Legacy 2: All Scar of Erebus Locations and How to Unlock Them

If you’ve played Rogue Legacy 2, you might or might not have come across a Scar of Erebus. There are a total of 16 Scars in the game, so finding them might take a while. If you are yet to come across one and have no idea where to go, then this guide is for you.

All Scars of Erebus Locations and How to Unlock Them in Rogue Legacy 2

Mending Erebus will be your first scar which will give you an explanation of what scars are and it will also keep track of the trophies you obtained from the other scars. Excluding this one, there are a total of 15 scars you’ll want to find.

Do keep in mind that most of these Scars of Erebus locations are accessible after beating the bosses in the game. If you haven’t done them yet, then here’s a guide you’d want to check out:

With that out of the way, let’s get started with the locations.

A Simple Start

The very first scar is just right at the start of the cave just behind the sleeping hooded figure.

Heavy Weapons

From the first scar, just press forward until you come across a small fireplace. Just hit the wall in front of you to reveal a secret cave that will take you all the way down to the second scar.

Two Masters

This one will require you to defeat Estuary Lamech in Citadel Agartha to unlock the location. You’ll also need the Ivy Canopy talent by the Ranger or the Pirate Ship by the Pirate in order to reach the third scar.

Narrow Praxis

This one will require you to defeat the boss of Axis Mundi which is Void Beast Byarrith. After that, head over to Pizza Mundi and fire at the barrels to the left. This will open a crack which will then take you to the next scar.

Bladed Rose

For this one, you’ll have to defeat Estuary Naamah then head over to Kerguelen Plateau. Head over to the very right until you come across a statue with a cliff nearby. There, you’ll want to fall to the edge but break a hole on the side of the cliff which you can then enter. The Barbarian’s shout can be pretty handy in this case since you can break open the entrance before attempting the jump.

Once inside, simply drop all the way to the bottom until you find the scar.

Closed Space

This will require you to defeat Estuary Enoch in the Stygian Study. Go back to the lower room where are there several books arranged on shelves. Simply jump up and you can find the scar on the left side.

Automatons

This one will require you defeat to Estuary Tubal in Pishon Dry Lake. Then, you’ll want to enter the storeroom which will cause you to go inside a little barrel. Inside, you’ll find a wide room. Simply head to the upper right corner and break the wall in front of you.

This will take you to another room. Simply go all the way straight until you find the next scar at the very end.

Spreading Poison

Compared to the previous ones, this one will require you to progress to NG+2 to unlock Prime bosses. For this one, you have to defeat Prime Laamech in Citadel Agartha. Head over to the top of the building and break the roof until you enter a door containing a scar on the left corner.

Preserver of Life

This one requires defeating Prime Void Beast Byarrith. The scar is located just on top of the building, at the right corner, where you get the damage buff for the boss.

The Rebel’s Road

This scar can only be unlocked after you defeated Prime Naamah which can only be accessed at NG+3. After arriving at Kerguelen Plateau, drop down on the bridge on the left and head to the right until you hit a wall. Break that wall and go through the tunnel but don’t go all the way to the next room. Instead, stop in the middle to find a door containing a scar.

The Two Lovers

This can be accessed by defeating Prime Enoch in Stygian Study. You can find it inside the boss’s bonus damage room. Head toward the right and activate the bridge by pressing the interact button at the edge of the ledge.

Cross the bridge and go all the way up until you see a telescope. Drop down on the ledge and walk all the way to the left until you find yourself in a room containing a scar at the top.

Nightmare Premonitions

To get this, you have to first defeat Prime Irad in The Sun Tower. Head to the tower of light and hit the middle of the left wall to reveal an entrance. Go inside and go up until you find a door that will take you to another room.

From there, go all the way up by using the platforms available until you find another door at the top. Enter the door and platform your way to the top again until you find a scar on the right side near a ledge.

The Atlantis Spire

For this one, you’ll have to defeat Prime Tubal without defeating any other boss. If you’ve done so, then you’ll have to reset or change your threads. As long as Prime Tubal is the only Estuary you’ve defeated, head to the Pishon Dry Lake then go toward the Nibiru Deep room.

From there, drop in the middle of the poison lake and break the wall on the left side using magic attacks. Enter the crack until you find a door that will take you to a room with the scar at the bottom waiting.

The Armada

This one is pretty simple. After defeating Prime Tubal, head to Kerguelen Plateau and go to the Far Shores room. In the middle, you’ll see a small islet with the scar sitting on top of it.

Divergent Dimensions

This one is perhaps the most complicated of all. For starters, you’ll have to defeat Prime Cain first, who just happens to be the Prime version of the game’s final boss. After that, head over to the tutorial area by resetting or changing threads.

Simply go through all of the tutorial checkpoints up until the one where you’ll have to use spin kicks for climbing a building. However, instead of going right, climb up the wall instead and go all the way to the left until you reach the previous building’s roof using dashes or double jumps.

Look for the campfire in the middle of the building and drop down until you find yourself in a hidden area. Go all the way down then go right until you come across a door that will take you to another room where you’ll have to drop down again all the way to the bottom.

At the bottom is another room. Drop down to the very bottom then go all the way to the right to find your last scar.
