Pet Simulator X features a lot of varied pets that players can collect. On top of that, you can even obtain a currency known as “Gems”.

Getting pets in this game is based on RNG, mostly relying on hatching eggs. To circumvent this, players can instead opt to trade with others!

If you want to learn the basics of trading, this guide will show you how to do it.

To initiate a trade, open your pet inventory. This is the circular button with a cat on the bottom of the screen.

Next, look for an icon with a pair of arrows at the bottom of the screen. It should be to the right of the cat icon, as long as you have your pet inventory open.

Click on the arrows button to see a list of every player in the current server. You can also click on “Show Friends” to only show players registered as friends, or type a name into the search.

Choose the player you wish to make an exchange with and a request will be sent.

Once the other player accepts, a trade menu will then appear. Here, you can choose the pets you wish to trade, as well as add some gems if you wish.

Once both players accept the trade, a timer will start. It’s shown under the Cancel and Ready buttons. Alternatively, you can click the “Cancel” or “Unready!” button to stop the trade.

Of course, if neither player has objections, the trade will be completed. Both you and the other player will instantly receive the pets and gems that were agreed upon.

Make good use of trading to get the pets you want, but be careful of getting scammed by unsavory players. Don’t accept trades that seem bad to you.

Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
