How to Fix Unable to Join Roblox Games Error

Sometimes users might experience connection errors when trying to join games in Roblox. This will prevent you from playing the game, which is obviously far from ideal!

In this guide, we’ll go over various possible solutions for this obnoxious error.

How to Fix Connection Errors in Roblox

Roblox Servers

The first thing you will want to do is to check the status of Roblox’s servers. Most of the time, the issue is on their end and not on yours.

You can check their status on this official website: https://status.roblox.com

The website will let you know if there are any service disruptions in any of the services provided by Roblox.

If it says that all services are operational, you will need to check your own connection.

VPN

One of the first things to try is to disable your VPN if you use one. They can sometimes interfere with networking, causing issues that might be preventing you from connecting to the game.

Reset Router

Still having issues even with the VPN disabled? You might need to restart your router.

This can be easily done by just physically unplugging the device’s electricity. Try to leave it off for about 5 minutes and then turn it back on again.

Try to connect and hopefully, it will work just fine now.

Are you still having issues? Try resetting the Roblox app itself. Look for Roblox in your installed apps and then click on advanced options. Click on the reset button and wait for the process to finish.

Relaunch Roblox and try to log in one more time.

Alternatively, you might want to check the Allowed Experiences setting. This is in the Parental Controls section of Roblox’s settings.

It must be at 13+ to ensure that you can join every Roblox game available. If you’re not 13 years old, ask a parent for help and surveillance.

Did none of these settings help? Sadly, that means that you might need to get in touch with your internet service provider. It might be an issue on their end.
