You will have to slowly accrue Bucks from daily rewards and events, and use them to exchange for pets. This is a time-consuming process that requires you to play frequently.
If you want free pets quickly, you will have to rely on other players. Some of them might do giveaways of unwanted pets from time to time.
Try asking other players for freebies, or following content creators known for doing giveaways sporadically.
Alternatively, some players have found it possible to get free pets by pretending to be a Trash Can.
To do this, you will need to find a skeleton skin for your body. This will make some blank squares appear for the headpiece in the skin list. Choose these to make your head invisible.
Next, find the trash can body piece and the trash can lid. Equip both of them and change your name to something like “Give Unwanted Pets to This Trash Can”.
Now, just stand idly in one spot, interacting with the game sporadically. Wait around and people might just end up giving you their unwanted pets!
Of course, you can probably get similar results by just asking more directly without resorting to pretending to be a trash can. Still, it’s an option you have at your disposal.
