How to Peek Doors and Open Quietly in COD Modern Warfare 2

In any FPS game, audio is critically important. Audio allows you to hear enemies’ footsteps, the location from where the shot came, if the enemy has planted or is defusing a bomb, and more.

Some maps of Modern Warfare 2 have doors that you can open loudly, but there is a trick that allows you to open them quietly.

Opening Doors Quietly

When you get inside or go outside a building and you do not want to alert any enemies, you just need to press L2 in the Playstation, then press square if you are close to a door.

Not pressing L2 in front of a door opens it normally, creating a sound that an enemy can hear. But when you press L2 instead of “Open Door,” you are going to see the option “Peek Door” for the square button.

Upon peeking from the door, it only creates a small opening, and you need to move forward to fully open it. Keep in mind that when peeking into a door, you should be in crouch mode so that enemies will not hear your footsteps.
