The beta stage of COD Modern Warfare 2 is ending, and players are excited for its official launch, particularly those who have no access to Playstation or those who didn’t have Early Access. In the game, there are Scorestreaks and Killstreaks, and we are going to show you how you can switch between them.

How to Switch to Scorestreaks from Killstreaks in COD Modern Warfare 2

The beta of Modern Warfare 2 only has until this September 26, so if you want to experience the game before it releases, you should play it now. The only modes currently accessible in the beta are Team Deathmatch, Domination, Prisoner Rescue, Knock Out, Search and Destroy, and Third Person Moshpit.

In the game, there are Scorestreaks and Killstreaks, but you can only use one at a time.

Switching Scorestreaks and Killstreaks

Similar to other Call of Duty Games, you can only carry 3 Killstreaks in Modern Warfare 2. Killstreaks and Scorestreaks offer powerful rewards that can help both your utility and offensive capabilities. For example, you can use the UAV to show your enemies in your minimap or deploy a Mortar Strike in an area on the map.

In the Playstation, to switch from Killstreak to Scorestreak, you just need to go to the Weapons tab and select Killstreak, then press R2 to switch to Scorestreak.

So, in Killstreak, you need to have 4 to enable the UAV, then 6 for the Cruise Missile, and 7 for the Sentry Gun.

If you switch to Scorestreak, you don’t need a Killstreak; instead, you must have a score of 500 to enable the UAV, 750 for the Cruise Missile, and 875 for the Sentry Gun. So, if you are not that confident in maintaining your Killstreak, you can just switch to Scorestreak.
