Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Forgotten Saga: Hidden Merchant Location

As a vast realm, it’s not surprising that you’ll encounter a lot of new NPCs throughout your journey in the new Forgotten Saga update. After all, Niflheim is a vast realm that consists of various regions that you have to go through.

Most of these NPCs come in the form of merchants, and some even have their own side quests that you can take. One NPC, in particular, is well-hidden that you won’t be able to easily find him on your first playthrough. In fact, there’s a high chance that you have even missed him in your current playthrough.

That NPC is none other than the King of Thieves. In this guide, I’ll show you where exactly you can find this hidden merchant.

Hidden Merchant Location in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Forgotten Saga

Despite a somehow menacing name, the King of Thieves is actually a helpful NPC. In fact, he will even help you during your journey of freeing Baldr. There’s a catch, however, as his services, as well as his items, aren’t free. As such, you will need to earn some currency first before you can start buying his wares or hiring him for his service.

That said, you want to find him first.

Finding the King of Thieves isn’t as easy as it sounds. This is because he will randomly appear along your path as you progress through the lands of Niflheim. The only indication that you have is a pouch with a golden symbol on your compass. However, you won’t be able to detect his exact location unless he’s nearby.

To start, you want to head over to Bangardhr, then go to the southwestern part of your map. Here, you will notice that the pouch with a golden symbol now appears on your map. From here, you want to scale the wall by climbing up on the rocky surface to the left just outside of the gate.

Once you get to the top, go right across until you arrive at a wooden platform. Climb up the ladder until you come across a wheel. Activate the wheel in order to use the lift which will take you to the very top. Here, you will find the King of Thieves.
