The newest installment in the Total War series can be use up a lot of your PC’s resources. In a game where small decisions during real-time battles play a key role, bad performance can ruin your entire experience. So, here’s how you can increase your FPS easily!
Increasing FPS in Total War: Warhammer 3
First, click the “options” button and choose the “graphics” icon. Than, set your resolution to your monitor’s native resolution. Than, make sure the “run in window” option is disabled. Next, choose the quality setting that matches your graphic card. If you’re sure you have a good graphics card, you’d want to use the “high” setting, but if you’re in doubt, it’s safer to choose either “medium” or “low” quality.
Advanced Options
Next, let’s take a look at the advanced graphics settings.
Turn off anti-aliasing, cloth simulation and shadows, as these two things tend to drain the most resources.
Also, change the “texture filtering” to “Anisotropic 2x”. Set the “lightning quality” to “high” and make “corpse lifespan” to 120.
If you still don’t have enough FPS, you should change all other settings to “medium” or “low”. Worst-case scenario, you might need to reduce the “resolution scale”, but that will severely impact the graphics.
Now, you can press the ”Benchmark” option in order to see how well the game runs on your system.
