Roblox: How to Get Razors in Tower Defense Simulator | Philips Event Update

Philips Tower Defense Simulator by Paradoxum Games has done a complete overhaul on how to get season currencies.

In the latest Philips event update that came out two days ago, they have changed the way how you get event currency which is something to watch out for before you get the battle pass.

Razors (which is this season’s event currency) will now be dropped from mob spawns instead of being awarded at the end of each match.

How to get Razors in Philips Event Update on Roblox Tower Defense Simulator

Now, this could be a game changer or a potential deal breaker depending on how you play the game. Before the update, players get each get event currency at the end of the match.

With the new event currency mechanics in place, players who are near the entrance of the mob spawns get to grab the event Razors compared to other players defending in other areas.

So you can imagine if an event currency is dropped on mobs instead of after each match, fighting over and looting a players spot is highly likely as players close to the mob entrances will try to hog the razor drops while others will get out of their respective lanes to crowd in and grab the event currencies for themselves.

Mob types that drop Razor

Not all mobs will be carrying Razors with them. The ones to look out for are spawns with facial hair accessories. These bearded mobs can drop a random razor when killed. We are not sure how many they drop but it’s usually from 1 to 5.

The facial hair accessory can be spawned from any mob so you should look out for them throughout your game.

Playing the game on higher difficulty doesn’t affect the drop rate of Razors in the game. Just a little heads up if you’re thinking higher game difficulty will drop more Razors per kill.

The event currency is locked on how many spawns you kill with facial hair accessories and not their mob type, maximum health points or game difficulty.

You will be using these Razors mainly for rank-up rewards. The higher your rank the more rewards you can get per season.
