No Man’s Sky has got its Waypoint Update. A lot of its changes are in the Quality of Life area, but that’s not all there is to the 4.0 Update.

In this guide we will teach you how to get the Trade Rocket and how to use it, and how to rename your save.

How to Get Trade Rocket in No Man’s Sky

One of the best additions to the game. With the Trade Rocket, you can sell anything you don’t want easily.

To get it first get into the game world and through the quick menu summon the Anomaly. Get in and make your way to Selene, the third alien at the rear end of the first floor. If you have no idea who that is, they’re the Exosuit Upgrade Merchant.

In their research tab you’ll find the Trade Rocket. It cost 90 Nanites if you have the Haz-Mat Gaunlet, and if not, 225.

Taking the chance that you’re with Selene, pick up your Exosuit Upgrade and install it in Technology, as that’s the kind of slot the Trade Rocket can be put into. As you can see from the image, you need 2 Wiring Looms, 120 Tritium and 90 Di-hydrogen to build the Trade Rocket.

After you have built and installed your Trade Rocket, you can open your Quick Menu in any planet’s surface and find the option to summon it, like it was a vehicle. The Rocket will descent (make sure to step away from it while it lands) and you can load it with items of your inventory.

The amount will show on the launch button – the moment you press it you’ll instantly get the units for what you sold.

How to Rename Saves in No Man’s Sky

Changing your save’s name is much easier than getting your Trade Rocket. You only need to go to the Options tab, and under the Save Data area, you’ll find a Rename Current Save button.

A window to type will show up so give it any name you want and apply – afterward you’ll want to make a manual save to make sure your changes were made. Next time you load up your game your renamed save will appear on top of the Select Save Game screen, also indicating your location.
