How to Set up Your Own Server with G-Portal
The first thing that you must do is rent the server. For this, you will need to click on the Rent a Server option on their site and select the option you want. The price you pay will depend on the amount of slots you want and the timespan you are renting the server for.
After paying the required amount for the option you selected, you can start setting up your server.

As the name suggests, you can manage settings for your server in the Basic Settings tab. Things like server name, description, and password can all be found here. You can always come back here if there is something that you would like to change.
Restarts
Server Restarts help you clear out a lot of unwanted junk from your server. Through the Restarts option, you can decide when you would like your server to restart. Restarts will happen automatically based on the time you selected.
For server restarts, it’s best to pick a time when you feel the server will be least active.
Backups
Through G-Portal, you can create automatic backups that help keep your server’s data safe. All you need to do is turn on the option for automatic backups, and the portal will do the rest.
Permissions
As you are the owner of the server, you can also decide who can or can not be on your server. This can be done through the permissions tab, and over here you can give specific permissions.
Once the setup is complete, you can restart the server with all your specifications. If you happen to run into a problem, you can always contact the G-Portal support team. This can be done directly through the portal.
