Monster Hunter: Sunbreak: How to Unlock All Post-Game Monsters

With the addition of Master Rank, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak takes things to the next level, but the challenges don’t end there.

All of the new mission types, monsters, weaponry, and hunting areas in this update require you to sharpen your hunting techniques to take on the enigmatic villain responsible for the catastrophe afflicting the residents of Elgado.

How to Unlock All Post-Game Monsters  in Monster Hunter: Sunbreak

Finishing the game is just the beginning for Monster Hunter series veterans. This is so that players can start the laborious journey of raising their master rank and achieving the far-off goal of MR 100, which is necessary to unlock all of the game’s secret hidden monsters at the end of the adventure.

There are a total of six post-game monsters you can unlock.

Unlocking Post-Game Monsters

With that said, here are the six post-game monsters and how you can unlock them:

• Gaismagorm: To unlock Gaismagorm, you must complete all your essential quests at Master Rank 5. Once that happens, Gaismagorm will appear as your Urgent Quest to get to Master Rank 6. The objective of Gaismagorm is titled “Proof of Courage,” which is a wonderful nod to the symphonic main theme song of the show.

• Wind Serpent Ibushi: When you reach Master Rank 20, the urgent quest “Retribution” for the Wind Serpent Ibushi will become available.

• Narwa the Allmother: You must achieve Master Rank 30 in Sunbreak to access Narwa the Allmother. Then her urgent quest “Spine-Tingling Divinity” will become available.

• Furious Rajang: Furious Rajang can be unlocked whenever your Master Rank reaches MR 50. You can achieve this by doing a series of quests.

• Crimson Glow Valstrax: You can access Crimson Glow Valstrax, the Top Gun of Monster Hunter’s skies, once you reach Master Rank 70 in Sunbreak.

• Scorned Magnamalo: All you need to do to unlock Scorned Magnamalo is get to Master Rank 100. It is recommended you fight Gaismagorm to improve your rank because it can be defeated in 9 to 10 minutes with a Light Bowgun and delivers good experience as you level up.
