How to Add Friends on Roblox

Roblox offers a rich and immersive multiplayer experience where you can socialize with other players. It allows you to expand your creativity and explore various types of games.

However, the experience gets even better if you have friends to play various Roblox games with. If you don’t have real-life friends who play Roblox, you can just add other people in Roblox instead.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how you can add friends and meet new people in the process.

How to Add People to Your Friends List in Roblox

There are two different methods you can use to add friends in Roblox.

The first and most common method is to add them via their username. For this, you need to know the usernames of the people you want to add as friends.

Once you have their username, head over to Roblox’s official website and log in to your account. In the search bar, type the username of the player you want to add. It will show a list of related results. Make sure to click on the result that comes with “in People”.

This will take you to that player’s profile. Then, you will be able to see an Add Friend button. Just click on it and wait for the other player to accept your friend request.

The second method is to add them in-game. As long as the person you want to add is playing on the same server as you, you should be able to add them directly.

All you have to do is press the Esc button and navigate to the People or Players tab. This will show you a list of players who are on that server.

Simply look for the player you want to add then click the Add Friend button right next to their time.

Same as the first method, you’ll then have to wait for them to accept your request.

Adding Friends on Roblox Mobile

If you’re playing on the mobile version, the steps are a bit different. For the mobile version, you want to open your Roblox app and look for the three dots icon on the lower right corner of the screen.

Tap on the icon and select the Friends option. Then, look for the search bar and enter the username of the player you want to add.

It will then show you a list of profiles that have a similar username to the one you want to add.

After finding the exact profile that you want to add, simply press the Add button right next to their avatar. Then, simply wait for them to accept your friend request.

In the event that someone sent you a friend request, all you have to do is either accept or reject it. If you accept the request, they will then be added to your friends list.
