It’s no secret that a good crosshair can somehow improve your accuracy in Valorant. This leads to overall better gameplay compared to opting for the default crosshair.

Compared to other FPS games like Call of Duty where you can only use a single crosshair, Valorant gives you the option to customize it however you want.

Then there’s also the option to copy someone else’s crosshair. That’s exactly what we’re going to talk about in this guide.

How You Can Copy Someone Else’s Crosshair in Valorant

The ability to copy other players’ crosshairs has been added in patch 5.04 of the game which was introduced back in 2022.

The idea behind copying someone else’s crosshair is pretty simple. All you have to do is spectate someone playing a Valorant match, and that someone should have the crosshair you want to copy.

While in a match, view the player’s crosshair then simply type “/cc” or “/crosshair copy” without the quotation marks in the chat.

However, you have to first make sure that you have an available spot for the new crosshair profile. After that, simply hit Enter and you should now have a copy of that player’s crosshair.

Applying the Crosshair to Your Game

With the crosshair copied, head to your Settings and go to the Crosshair section. Look for the Crosshair Profile section and make any adjustments to your newly copied crosshair if necessary.

You can just use the copied crosshair as is or make some adjustments to suit your preferences. You can either change the color or make some vertical or horizontal line adjustments.

However, do keep in mind that there are certain limitations when spectating matches. Specifically, you can only spectate your teammates during rounds when you’re currently dead.

This means you won’t be able to copy crosshairs from your opponents. This also applies to other game modes such as Deathmatch since they don’t give you the chance to spectate other players.

Alternative Method for Copying a Crosshair

There’s yet another method you can use to copy someone else’s crosshair. This one doesn’t require you to spectate someone. However, you will need to ask a player their crosshair profile code.

So unless you know that person or that someone is willing to give their crosshair profile code, then this method won’t be as reliable as the first.

To start, you first need to ask for the crosshair profile code from someone whose crosshair you want to copy. After securing the code, head to your Settings and look for the Import Profile Code button within Crosshair Profile under the Crosshair section.

After that, simply paste the code in the box and click Import. You should then have the copied crosshair as your default.
