While Valorant’s roster of operators features their own unique abilities, the game will still boil down to how good your aiming and gaming sense is. Although you can surely rely on your hero’s abilities to turn the tides of battle, if your aiming sucks, winning the game will still be an uphill battle.
This is why if you’ve decided to improve your aim, then you’ll be happy to know that I’ve compiled some pro tips for you. Let’s have a look at all of them.
Pro Tips that Can Help You Improve Your Aim in Valorant
There are plenty of ways to improve your aim not just in Valorant but in FPS games in general. That said, let’s have a look at the following pro tips to get you started:
Hone Your Skills
As with every other thing in life, practice makes perfect. If you want to improve your aiming in Valorant, you have to be willing to put thousands of hours into practicing. Even just a few hours of practice every day will pay off in the long run.
Ideally, you want to start in the game’s Practice Mode, particularly the Shooting Test one as it lets you complete challenges that will eventually hone your aiming ability. It also helps to practice aiming while matching up with other players, though practicing by yourself first should take priority.
Once you’ve sunk enough hours into practice, you should be able to see noticeable improvements in your aiming. Then, if you’re confident enough, you can then queue up for ranked matchmaking and see if you can climb up the ranks with your current abilities.
If you’re still lacking, simply go back to practice mode, then it’s rinse and repeat from there.
Learn Proper Crosshair Placement
Proper crosshair placement can either make or break your matches in Valorant. It’s definitely the most important aspect that you have to consider if you even want to improve your aim in the first place.
Basically, proper crosshair placement means centering your aim on the screen, making sure that it’s at the perfect head height even as you move about on the battlefield.
Ideally, you want to reduce the amount of corrections you’ll make each time you come across an enemy player. Of course, it will take a bit of time and a lot of practice, but as soon as you get into this habit of placing your crosshair at head height, you should be able to improve your aim by leaps and bounds.
Practice Your Movement
Movement plays an integral role in your aiming ability as well. With dynamic movement, you can get into a proper positioning which will give you an edge during fights. This is even more important in Valorant as certain operators have dashing abilities
My suggestion is to practice at least two operators first so you can get familiar with their abilities and the game in general. Also, you’ll want to learn advanced movement techniques such as counter-strafing if you want to improve your aim and get better in Valorant as a whole.
Basically, counter-strafing is moving from left to right and vice-versa using your A and D keys. However, it also involves firing your shots in-between. Pros who mastered this technique can get quick kills while remaining harder to target for their enemies.
Another technique you’ll want to master if you want to improve your aim in Valorant is flicking. In case you’re wondering, flicking is a method in which you subconsciously shot at any moving target that comes into sight even before you can think of aiming.
Due to this, flicking will require a lot of muscle memory and reaction time, though these two things can be improved with practice.
Aim Down Your Sight
The last tip I’ll be giving you is to aim down your sight. Basically, aiming down your sight in Valorant will let you fire more accurate shots, especially when firing at targets from a distance.
This makes it perfect for weapons like the Vandal since you’re sacrificing your fire rate for more accuracy.
However, if enemies at a very close range, you’ll want to keep yourself scoped out as it will be a lot easier to hit your targets this way due to the larger field of view and a higher fire rate.
Terraria: Labor of Love | Shimmer Guide
One of the things that stand out in the Labor of Love Content is the Shimmer Liquid which has now become available early in the game.
In old versions of Terraria, the Shimmer liquid is part of the end game content. That means you will have access to it only when you’ve progressed further into the game.
In the Labor of Love content, the Aether Mini Biome is randomly spawned into the world and all you need to do is look for it.
Depending on how fast you can dig, you will be able to gain access to the Aether Mini Biome early in the game which opens up different item conversions which we will be discussing further on.
In this guide, we will show you the different uses for the Shimmer liquid in Terraria 1.4.4.
Labor of Love Shimmer Guide in Terraria
The shimmer liquid affects items in the game in different ways. Items that are crafted from different materials will sometimes disassemble when thrown into the liquid.
Throw items into the liquid to disassemble or upgrade existing items
Other items get upgraded to new versions of items exclusive in the latest update. Examples of this are the Life Crystal which turns into a vital crystal in the pool. This grants permanent regeneration boosts.
Another item is the Rod of discord. Throwing that into the pool will change it into a rod of Harmony where you can use the rod’s ability to teleport without suffering any debuff from use.
Try throwing different items to see their results
NPCs that fall into the liquid will change their appearances and if you fall into the pond, you will be sucked down and pass through blocks. Try to throw in different items and test out their results.
