Medium Builds are one of the best classes in The Finals in Season 1, as they’re being heavily favored by the game’s meta.

Their powerful support tools can quickly turn the tide of a match, and their offensive tools aren’t too shabby either.

In this guide, we take a look at the best-in-slot tools for your Medium Builds loadout.

Best Medium Builds Loadouts in Season 1

Specialization

Medium Build Specialization: Healing Beam

Just as has been said since the game first launched, the Healing Beam is by far the strongest Specialization for the Medium Builds. It allows you to top up your teammates’ health fairly quickly.

It’s extremely useful if your teams has Heavy Builds, because Heavies’ have a long delay to their HP regen, and it’s painfully slow once it does start.

Heavy players will be extremely grateful to you if you help them overcome their biggest weakness!

Healing Beam description

Alternatively, the Recon Senses specialization is great for a more offense-oriented playstyle. It allows you to see enemies through walls for a period of time, making it easy to ambush them and avoid being ambushed.

You should pick it if your team has no Heavy Builds, as it can be more useful than the Healing Beam in these cases.

As for the Guardian Turret? Well, you’re honestly better off forgetting about that one. It’s not bad, mind you, especially if you place it in tricky spots. But it’s very easy to counter and not as useful as the other two Specializations you can choose.

Weapons

AKM in detail

The Medium Builds don’t have much variety in weapons when choosing the best loadout, sadly. This is simply due to the fact that the AKM stands tall above the rest of the choices you have.

It has good damage, a large magazine, quick reloads, and decent range. It’s a jack-of-all-trades with almost no flaws, so you can’t go wrong with it!

R.357 at the firing range

The other good weapon to keep in mind is the R.357 revolver, but it’s very hard to use unless you have amazing aim.

You can deal huge damage quickly with the R.357 if you’re good, but the small clip and slow reload can get you killed if you miss a shot. It excels at taking down Heavies due to their large

The FCAR is also fairly decent and has higher damage output than the AKM, but its small magazine ends up being a huge issue in most matches.

As for the CL-40 grenade launcher and Model 1887, they are generally not used due to them not really pairing well with the Medium’s more support-oriented role. Plus, they just aren’t as all-around good as the AKM.

Lastly, the Riot Shield… well, it can be fun to use if you like oddball playstyles. But if you’re taking the game seriously enough to look up guides like this one, you should ignore it.

Gadgets

Defibrilator is mandatory

You probably know what we’re going to say in this section already: always bring the Defibrillator. There are no “buts” for this one, the Defibrillators’ instant revives can mean everything for your team.

The Jump Pad is also a top-tier choice for gadgets, as it can help you and your team move around the arenas quickly. It’s not quite a 100% must-have like the Defibrillator, but it’s pretty close!

Jump Pad placed

As for other potential picks, the Goo Grenades are great for quick barricades and the Gas Grenades are excellent for area denial. Just be careful not to get your own team caught up in the smoke!

Sonar Grenades are also pretty solid, as they work similarly to Recon Senses but also allow your teammates to see the detected enemies. They’re a bit redundant if you already have Recon Senses, though.

The ol' reliable, Frag Grenades!

Last but not least, Frag Grenades are a great choice as always. Their high damage, versatility, and overall utility make them always good to have around.

Everything else we didn’t mention? Not really worth carrying around, at least in the current Season 1 meta.
